HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
Our people are our most important asset. The Health and Safety of each employee is necessary to ensure sustainability of our business, that of supplying High Purity Sand products
It is the policy of the Management that all employees and those persons who are not employees but who may be directly affected by the activities at the mine are protected and shall adhere to Health and Safety rules and regulations. In order to facilitate adherence, Management subscribes to the following:
• Accept the responsibility to inform and consult with those who may be exposed to identify hazards.
• The development of a Health and Safety Management system, is a part of general management.
• Zero Tolerance to unsafe acts and non-adherence to rules and regulations.
• Training of each employee, permanent or temporary, in the basic Health & Safety guidelines in the company, and more specifically, their area of work.
• Compliance to applicable legislation, governing Health and Safety.
• Issue of necessary Personal Protective Equipment, to each employee.
• Participation by all work groups, in continuously improving awareness and developing a Healthy and Safe working environment.
• Ensuring that our employees have a clear understating of our customers’ requirements and expectations.
Furthermore, due to the nature of our products, Management ensures the regular monitoring of the Health of each employee, through the provision of annual medical examinations.
The Management of SAND MINING commits our employees to adherence in all aspects of this policy.
The full co-operation of all employees and contractors in fulfilling this commitment will ensure the highest safety and health standards within SAND MINING, resulting in minimal risk to our workforce and the community.

Our key focus areas as per strategic reviews of our environmental risk from the operations and the following challenges were identified and management standards were enhanced.

We will review our progress to ensure this policy remains relevant to our surrounding environment, to ensure success on our targets and goal of a harm free environment and that the communities in which we work value us.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY POLICY
We, at MRCS Pvt Ltd , believe that it is our responsibility to improve the lives of those living in our vicinity, not only in terms of offering employment, but also by working together with the community on sustainable projects, as decided in Public hearing where relevant community stakeholders through the Integrated Development Plan of the local municipality, supporting the development of our external stakeholders through Local Economic Development, Portable Skills development, Bursaries, Learner-ships, Internships, Infrastructure Development as well as Sports activities.
SAND Mining involves itself with meaningful and sustainable projects, which are set for an initial period of five years in Social and Labor Plan, and are reviewed annually.
We take seriously all feedback that we receive from our stakeholders and, where possible, maintain open dialogue to ensure that we fulfill the requirements outlined within this policy.
We shall be open and honest in communicating our strategies, targets, performance and governance to our stakeholders in our continual commitment to sustainable development.
